-John Fitzgerald Kennedy, "Inaugural Address" (1/20/1961)

When modernity remembers John F. Kennedy, our 35th US President, the liberal media sound bites and public educators of the United States tend to resort to the old line "…ask not what your country can do for you-ask what you can do for your country."

I have always felt that this line of reasoning, which dismisses the sacrifice and responsibility of a government and focuses on the sacrifice of the individual (instead), was the essence of Communism and Fascism, not Freedom. There is no doubt in my mind that Hitler, Stalin and Mao spouted similar proverbs of patriotism to instill resolve in those impressionable men and women they were about to ask to commit atrocity in the name of some twisted concept of Fatherland, Motherland or Righteous Duty. It seems a mindless morsel that can be swallowed by the young and old alike; because, who doesn’t love their homeland? Who doesn’t feel a sense of connection to that place from which they were born or in which their family holds a stake? Is this morsel that all Americans are fed from the time they can recite the Pledge of Allegiance not just a pacifier that allows the government to shrug off any sense of accountability over its failures and shortcomings? I think so, and I will not (and you shouldn’t) accept this spoon-fed morsel without the true context and spirit of the Speech.

When I think on John F. Kennedy, I prefer to think of this line of his Inaugural Speech in context. That is, the following sentiment he bestowed states, "My Fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the Freedom of man." When taken in context, his overall desire for peace unveils itself. In times like these, when we are facing innumerable enemies from both abroad and within: a many headed hydra of Tyranny, Oppression, Hate and Terror--America must Rise as citizens of the world to remove all shackles from those who would be free.

What has happened?

Somehow we’ve lost something in the years since JFK’s speech, this speech of hope in peace, delivered at the dawn of 1961. In 45 short years, the Hero has been Murdered (in all of us). No CSI case was opened when the Hero was Murdered. No Warrants for Arrest were issued when the Hero Fell. The Hero fell and no one even noticed.

Somewhere along the way, the American Dream of Living Free, on our own terms, with justice, fairness and love in order to rebel from evil and at the same time strive towards whichever success our hearts led us to hold dear-Died.

How did we not notice? Who do we blame? What are we left with when our individual drives for Personal Excellence have been killed? Who do we ask for the answers to such a devastating reality and all-pervading poison?

Do we ask the baby boomers who are running our world with faith in the God of Democracy to cure all of the world’s ills? Do we ask the Hippies who made it out of the Head world to Yuppie-dom after their personal realizations that Communism as a concept was a lark and slavery was its aim? Do we ask the old FSM movers and shakers that fell into lock step with any idealistic leader that happened to come along after both Kennedy hopes were killed by mutants? Do we ask the Civil Rights Fighters who sought justice over intolerance and have somehow fallen to the Evils of ACLU extortion tactics? Do we ask the Media made up of crusading journalists, peaceniks and socialists whose love for utopia and faith in utopia has always blinded them to the reality of inequality and the fact that Charity is only possible in a world of Capitalism? Do we ask our preachers and pastors and Imams who have always sought to pray on bended knee to a God, whose indifference begs for our forgiveness of His Fall? Do we ask the survivors of WWII that put their faith in the enlightened ideals of the UN to solve and mediate all conflicts to come after the fall of Fascist Racism embodied in Nazi Germany and Imperialistic Japan?

Make no mistake, America…we all, Americans, have to look for the answer within ourselves. We must expiate. And until we look into a mirror and ask ourselves "When did the Hero within me die?" we will never be able to atone for the shortcomings of our teachers. Until then, the American Dream of rising to a rank of Hero, in our own terms, will lie in a grave, awaiting resurrection from an unborn generation, that may indeed find itself enslaved due to our failures to bring to justice those that have killed the Heroes within us, today.

What will tomorrow hold? The stage is set for World War III and all we do is wonder at why we are falling so casually into the murkiness and confusion that only Chaos and Evil can bring to the world of reason and Freedom. We all hold a deep-seated irritation, agitation, and uneasy sense that something is wrong, but we can’t put our finger on what it is that is out of joint... We are so locked in to our meticulously created and honed world views that we are not willing to accept criticism, we are not willing to consider all of the sides of the debates, we are not willing to define our position or party or keynotes, we are not willing to question our own convictions, we are not willing to earn our Victory over Evil, we are not willing to compromise with our Allies, yet for some reason we are willing to negotiate with terror; we are not willing to set aside our differences, we are not able to come to a consensus on any issue, we are not willing to analyze our fears and our dreams in terms of reality, we are not willing to learn from history, yet we are more than willing to allow others to sacrifice for our sake that we might not learn from it…we are not willing to do anything that will guarantee a unity of purpose unless it is our view that wins out on the direction that is taken to the ultimate conclusion. In short, in this world of zap saps and ram spikes and Pentium boosts and web logs and saber rattling and appeasement wishes and immediate gratification, we do not have the Will and Resolve to Live…WE CHOOSE SUICIDE out of nothing less than primadonna pride.

From the beginning to the present through the future, we outrage over any view other than our own, we stand aghast at any offense to anyone’s sensibilities that is easily painted in a negative light, and retreat cowardly from any tragic offense that will cause us to unite. Sad, sad are we, egotists to death.

Why so gray, America? Why so grim, America? Why so divided, America? When did we decide to capitulate so wholeheartedly to grayness, division and madness? What happened to black and white? What happened to wrong and right? What happened to accountability? What has happened to the United States? When did we lose our reverence for factual truth, for the amazing accident of creation that is our planet, for the amazing accident of creation that is each human life, and for each amazing Willful and volitional act of Creation that is Intellectual CAPITAL? Have we civilized ourselves to death? Have we sought to please and protect everyone’s rights so much that we have forgotten what Freedom is? We’ve lost something. Something has died within each American heart. But, Lo, do not despair, America…for the caged bird’s song is Freedom.

Whether you are a religious zealot or devout atheist you must, if ye be American, consider the possibility that we only use 10% of our brains to survive and that the other 90% is pure MAGIC, awaiting its time to shine in use in the act of individual creation and personal productivity…and that it is our solemn challenge to unlock as many doors to that magic as is humanly possible, that it is our duty to foster as many other creative intellects to produce reality out of dream, that it is possible, even probable, that before mortality reminds us of our own frailty--we can push the Tumblers of TIME back into line and EARN OUR FREEDOM.

Prosperity is only possible if we are free. Survival is perhaps attainable if we are slaves. And if you are an American, then you will stand against Tyranny in all of its guises. And if you are an American, then you will stand against the Oppression of all people both abroad and at home. And if you are American, then you will stand against Hate even if it is derived from a religion supposedly founded in peace. And if you are an American, then you will stand against Terror as a moral act of Necessary Unwavering Courage and Devotion to your own dream of yourself and each newborn child, perfected and free. And if you are an American, then you will stand with your President in this, our summer of discontent, regardless of if you agree with him or not…because HE IS YOUR PRESIDENT. And if you are an American, then you will stand against all forms of Slavery and all Ideologies based on doctrines and creeds which force the subjugation of man.

And I say, if you are not willing to stand up after the 1983 bombing of our Peacekeeping forces in Lebanon in which 241 Marines died needlessly, if you are not willing to stand up after the sudden death of the 17 in the U.S.S. Cole attack, if you are not willing to stand up after the countless US Embassy bombings and deaths, if you are not willing to stand up after the attacks on the World Trade Towers and Pentagon of 9/11, when between 2,000 and 10,000 souls were incinerated in a flash; and I say, if you are not willing to set aside partisan politics and unite in these Consequential Moments of Terror and Crisis, if you are not willing to set aside your egotistical desire to be right even if it costs us Victory in the war against these Regimes of Slavery, if you are not willing to set aside your petty single-issued agendas of poisoning divisiveness, if you are not willing to set aside your desire to disrupt for the sake of your supposedly enlightened view of what is right based on definitions that apparently only you know, if you are not willing to set aside your unconscious hope to see the rubberneck free-for-all of Israel’s fall into dissolution and disarray being left alone to fight our battles, if you are not willing to set aside your indefinable (definable) and unfounded (founded) hatred of any American including YOUR PRESIDENT…I say, that if you are not willing to stand United against the Evils that are storming across the globe, then the house of the United States of America is Divided and this House founded on Unity against Injustice and Tyranny will fall…and I say, that if you are a source of division within this country in this Time of Crisis even though History ALWAYS proves that a divided house will fall to its enemies, then you are a TRAITOR within the ranks of Freedom and Peace and you are nothing more than a festering mouthpiece of that enemy we are trying to put down like the rabid dogs they are! Make no mistake, you are not a traitor to me…no, you betray only Your family and yourself-and that betrayal is not a Selfish crime or a resort to self preservation…No, your betrayal is the essence of GREED…for the selfish earn and the greedy steal and you are not willing to Earn your Freedom…you’d rather steal it away to some corner of hiding…you’d rather steal it away from your countrymen and your family out of a sad sense of primadonna pride. You Americans who would guarantee the division of the United States in such a consequential time of Terror, Tyranny, Oppression and Hate are a Thief and a Coward…and in the end you are nothing but a Traitor.

And if you shed a tear when the World Trade Towers fell and you are now against any war that our leaders have decided is worth fighting due to the intelligences that they are privy to (as the result of the retrieved intelligence fostered by the tools provided by the taxes we have paid to date), then I say you are willing to steal and trade my Freedom for the sake of your hope in Appeasement and that is unacceptable and I will not Stand for it! You have no right to my Freedom, you presumptuous, self-righteous, holier than thou, thieving, traitorous COWARD! Be gone! Leave from this land! Join the Enemy. For you are not an American if you would seek to divide us in the cause of your Liberty. You have outstayed your welcome. Be Gone! You are the Cancer we must root out within our borders if we are to survive and eventually prosper.  The gauntlet is thrown down…Either shut up and support the war against EVIL…or pack your bags and go on strike in a far away land where your ideas of what is right can be overrun by the Hun. Maybe then you’ll get a taste of what the real world is like outside your Ivory Tower, that world where people die in the room next to you rather than on the TV you have the luxury of watching in feigned righteousness.

Oh Democrats of Congress! If you do not support this war, centered in Iraq, then resign your post! Resign! Resign! Resign! Don’t hide behind your duty to give your constituency the service you have promised. For if you do not support this war, then you are summarily failing your constituency! Don’t hide behind your cowardly goal of Diplomacy in the face of Evil in hopes that our tax dollars can fill an incentive package that will trade off our Freedom for a phantom of Security. If your desire is to pay Alms to a threat rather than to fight a threat, then I say you are nothing but a worthless yellow-bellied Coward and you need to be run out on a rail, tarred and feathered and made to prance around like a chicken while rubber bullets are shot at your feet.

What we, as a country, need right now is for A Congress of unshakeable conviction, strength and integrity to stand up and put everyone on the same page-and if it is left to me to do that, then I will.

Don’t look away…because I am coming like a juggernaut and if you think you are immune to the sting of this Disdain, than you are surely mistaken, for I level my sights on all that divide my Countrymen in times of War. Unity through Diversity in a time of War is an Impossible Utopia. Equality in Economics is and has always been a Utopia, which denies the reality that scarcity Exists. Don’t Deny this reality, for if scarcity did not exist, Oil would be Free! Supply and Demand Exists because and only if Scarcity Exists! To tolerate any world view, like Marxism which denies Scarcity and holds up need as the fulcrum of its value system is nothing but delusion and it must be Rejected! Realize now and hold it close to your heart that Tolerance is a tool which provides Reason the ability to Reject Evil, it is not a tool which necessitates the equal Acceptance of Everything, blindly. Diplomatically speaking, Blind Tolerance leading to Peace is a Utopia. AND WHEN EVIL IS ALLOWED TO ROAM FREE WITHOUT BEING HUNTED DOWN OR REBELLED AGAINST THEN I SAY PEACE IS A UTOPIA!

Oh America! Come to your Common Senses!

We must not strive for Peace today…we must strive for VICTORY today and Peace Tomorrow! The Writing is etched upon the veil. If we lose, WE DIE! If we win, WE LIVE! When faced with the Evil of an Ayatollah driven Zealot in Iran and when faced by an Evil dictator in North Korea, both seeking world domination and subjugation, then the stakes are Black and White. There is no gray area possible in today’s fight. And if ye seek to impose Grayness and Division, then you are playing to the tune of the Evil Pipers and not to the notes of Freedom’s Song.

"Who are you," you might ask, "to cast such a wide net, without any proof…to make such bold pronouncements and judgments?"

To this question I must answer clearly, "I am the conscience of the Hero that died within you long ago and my name is REBELLION FROM EVIL!"

Do I have your attention, yet? Are you incensed? Are you pissed, yet?

There is no doubt that Hard times call for hard words. And I say the hard words that everyone might understand what we are facing. I say the hard words in order to derail the Democratic Train of Appeasement. I say the hard words to wreck the UN hopes for ALMS rather than ARMS. I say the hard words to free the press from the Hostage situation it finds itself in when dealing with the Koran. I say the hard words to free the people of Cuba, to free the people of the Middle East, to free the people of North Korea, to free the oppressed in Africa, to free the people of South America, and to at last cleanse and Free the United States Citizen and restore him to the position of HEROIC JUDGE. I say the hard words that if you do not consider Hezbollah a TERRORIST organization, than you have no Right, you have NO moral authority to construct the laws of the United States of America! You, who would call Hezbollah a legitimate party are nothing but Cowards! You, who would call Hezbollah anything but an EVIL PIRATE REGIME, are the embodied CANCER of DIVISION in a time of war…and I say it HARD, that you may know that you have been judged a COWARD, a THIEF, a TRAITOR!

Thank You, Evil…you have given me strength to awaken the Heroes of my country today and forevermore when times of Crisis arise…for, for all time these Letters will stand as a Sentinel at the Window of Evil, holding you at bay, cursing you to stay in the Fires from which you attempt to spring.

I release you from your self-forged Chains of Indifferent Appeasement, America! I release you from the spell of the ACLU. I release you from the spell of Affirmative Action. I release you from your devotion to Marx. I release you from all spells of UTOPIA…I release you and I say, now, we must Rise, Men of the West…we must Unite, Men of the West! We must stand as Heroes for the cause of Freedom to Guarantee for today and evermore that Peace, and our love of it and each other, might endure!

We must send a clear message to the Dictators of the world, that they might know our resolve, that they might know that our WRATH over the enslavement of innocent minds to their causes of World Domination is TOTAL! ENEMY, the Wrath of the Hero is Upon Your Doorstep and it is more Powerful than any God you can surmise. Enemy, The HERO of the West has sang the Caged Bird’s Song of Freedom and in his song the Hero Demands that Injustice will not and will never be Tolerated! This is the true utilization of Tolerance… Our tolerance is no longer blind, for you have allowed us to see the light of Freedom again! You have forced us to look within ourselves and remember that Tolerance is a Tool of Rejection-not Acceptance!

John F. Kennedy was our elected President 45 years ago and his words will not have died with the Evil bullets that struck down his light!

I will not allow it!

In the name of every freedom fighter of the sixties Civil rights movement…In the name of every Liberating Soldier that has ever warn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces…In the name of every victim and family that has been torn apart by terror the world over from the dawn of Chaos…In the name of President Bush, who has stood firm and resolved to protect our liberties even if it meant his crucifixion in the press…In the name of Tony Blair who has stood at our side for the world to see the resolve of a man of Principal and Grace…In the Name of the Framers of the United States Constitution and Declaration of Independence…in the name of John F. Kennedy who stood as the hope of America against the rising tide of Communism and Dictatorship that are now cropping up in regimes in South America, in Africa, in Asia, in Europe and somehow have found their way into the hearts of those Democrats who once held John F. Kennedy as their Dream of Freedom…In the name of all who have died and struggled for the cause of Liberty since the Israelites demanded their freedom from Pharaoh…in the name of VICTORY OVER EVIL…in the name of each individual American Hero that has, since the inception of this country, rebelled against and from Evil…in the name of the Generations of new that are born into this world every second of every day…I repeat John F. Kennedy’s words as a line in the sand…Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

This much we pledge-and more.

It is time America! It is time! We have to Earn Freedom…it is not Free…it is a Gift that is only possible when Grayness in Definition and fact are no longer on the table for discussion! And though the cost of Freedom may be even our lives…we will fight with Courage, Side by Side, UNITED against Injustice and Evil wheresoever they rear their heads. This is a Letter of Resolve…this is the Letter of the Elemental Axe of Zed Freedom…and with it I wield the power of the Rebel within all Americans and I Behead all Dictators of EVIL, willfully…I strike down all who stand against Freedom, and I cleave the chains of all peoples of the world that they might recognize the signs and unite as Free Men and Women and whatever the cost…will overthrow those who hold them Hostage against their will! Democrats of Congress…Prove to me that you are Moral Men and Women of Worth…either Stand up as Free Americans, willing to sign on the dotted line a new Declaration of Independence from the Evils of Terror…or Resign your post and ask a new Heroic Leader of conviction, that has not yet been bought by the corruption of our bureaucracy, to take the reigns and Lead us rather than Divide us! Stand Aside, Democrats, if ye be thieves, cowards, and Traitors! We are Fighting for Democracy abroad and are being fought by the Democrats within…and unless you stand with your President in this most dangerous time of possible Nuclear War, then I swear by my life and my love of it and by everything and every Freedom that I hold dear, that your train will falter in the 2006 election and its engine shall never race again as of 2008 for the American people will Rise with me and Eject you from the Arena of Politics and Raise up a New Standard…the foreign policy of the United States will shift from the support of the Democratic Spirit to the fostering of Capitalistic Republics that seek Freedom…and the Democratic Party, after choosing to remain divisive and contentious and after choosing to ignore the fact that her President fought for DEMOCRACY, will go the way of the Dodo by the resounding Will of a People United in the Common Cause of Freedom, Heroism, Victory and hopefully somewhere down the line an incentive driven Security and Lo! The Capitalist Party will Rise in your stead…for Reagan already ordered Gorbachev to tear down the Iron Wall of Communism and you have no Right to erect an Iron Curtain of Marxist Communism within our Borders to guarantee our division, enslavement and death, you Slave Hungry Power Mad sponsor and supporter of Evil and Terror…for in the end, unless Trade is Free, America is doomed to slavery or death and I will not allow my Countrymen to live under that yoke! I say, this day…that I am John Galt, I am Atlas…and I say that I will not Shrug, for though the fate of the whole world seems to rest on my shoulders, I breathe easy, knowing that one Hero after another Hero after another Hero will hear these words in their minds and read this message of Love in Creation … and I will know that I am, every moment of every day, one vote closer to slipping you the political noose and one step closer to Guaranteeing the Freedom of all, Justice for All, and the possibility of Prosperity, Charity and Peace!

Stand with me, America. Throw off your Party Chains and Unite America! Demand Justice! Send a clear message to the American Soldier fighting every day an inch closer to the Freedom of the Iraqi Peoples that we are United behind them and that they are the messengers of blessed Liberty, the hope and Pride of America and the saviors of the world…that we hold them as Heroic Liberators…that we hold them in the highest esteem and that we, Free United States Citizens, will do whatever it takes to provide them the moral authority to wield Justice for the peoples they fight to Free in the name of our Freedoms which will Never Fall…in the name of Justice for ALL. For is this not our PLEDGE of ALLEGIANCE to You, the American Soldier?

Now, on behalf of the United States Soldier, I charge you Hezbollah and Nasrallah: 4,000 Katyusha rockets fired on the Israeli Citizenship as 4,000 counts of attempted mass murder. I judge you Hezbollah and Nasrallah: Guilty… Guilty… GUILTY! In the name of Israel, I declare it…that the Free Citizens of the United States of America want your Heads on Plates! I charge you Ahmadinejad and Al Assad and all top Clerics of the Arab world to the crime of Conspiracy toward Anti-Zionism, financially supporting known terrorist regimes, and inciting Civil Strife amongst your Sects in the name of the Hadith! I charge you with aiding the Terrorist Organizations Hezbollah and Al-Quaeda and I find you Guilty in the name of those who died in the 9/11 attack…in the name of the 241 Marines that died in the Hezbollah bombing attack of 1983…in the name of the Israeli soldiers who laid down their lives in the recent battles, that died so their country might stand without fear of Evil Raining down on their heads without warning or provocation…in the name of all peoples you seek to subjugate to your code of Piracy, the Koran! Guilty…Guilty…GUILTY!

Know, now, Guilty Ones… America is at War with Terrorists and all who aid and support Terrorists…and on behalf of the United States People…and in the name of Liberty…. We, the Free Citizens, we Heroes, of these United States of America Declare Alliance with Israel and declare WAR WAR WAR on ALL Islamic Regimes of Terror and Tyranny that hold their peoples hostage, on all Regimes that hold the Israeli, British and United States Citizenry Hostage with terrorist support, with veiled propagandized threats, and with the Nuclear Aspirations that are sought to guarantee the dominance and piracy over all free men, the world over!

I demand a mandate from the US Congress-and if a Mandate for the capture, arrest, and disarmament of these now tried and convicted Felonious Evil Tyrants and Regimes is not met, then I say the Congress, itself, is nothing but a Traitor to its own people and I demand the Resignation of every Distinguished Member that voted against Fighting Against such an obvious threat to the lives and freedoms of all American Citizens…for if they do not vote against Evil, then I say Congress has a Greedy Monetary stake in watching the world fall to disorder and chaos to the unthinkable and unconscionable point that 1.5 billion Muslims will be put to death by our liberating soldiers who should never be forced to commit such acts!

I sing out as the Caged Bird Sings! I sing out that all Americans might see the threat clearly. I sing out that the Muslims who seek freedom and justice and peace and abhor war and death in the name of Allah might live to be free! I sing out that all American Citizens might Unite and Topple the heads of the many headed hydra that we face, today. And on this day, I sing to all Dictators…and that includes you Kim Jong Il and Fidel Castro…if you are not a freely elected head of state…or if you are pushing your citizens to a war they will be forced to fight out of love for their country instead of as a last resort in the hope that peace may endure and Freedom may shine its Capitalistic Light upon their Reasoning minds…then I sing unto you, Lay Down your Arms…Give Freedom to your Peoples or we, the Free American Citizens, standing firmly resolved with Love in our hearts and Freedom for your Subjugated Peoples as our aim, will behead you, will behead all that might stand in your stead, and we will pay any price and bear any burden to hunt you down and Mercilessly put you down like the rabid dogs and Evil Pirates that you are!

Thank you for your Time heroes… Thank you, Israel for Standing for Us... These are not my last words on this topic; but for now, I’d like to close with a window on our 1st President’s Farewell…his words of strength, to this day, strike discord to the quick. We must consider his words soberly, knowing that Anti-Semitism is the Racism beheld in the Koran and that Anti-Zionism is the twisted belief of our Fascist enemies that for 58 years have held the Zion State of Israel as an imperial wedge in the heart of an Arab world. This is the Crux of WWIII. We must also consider that our enemies will utilize Defense as their Prime Weapon, for the gullibility of the UN knows no bounds as it seeks to pay off every threat rather than enforce international law.

Remember, America...Israel has no Ocean between it and its enemies...
